Age Calculator

Enter a date of birth. The calculator uses today’s date in your time zone, or any other date you choose as the target, and shows the exact age in years, months and days, plus the total number of months, weeks and days, the weekday you were born on and the date of your next birthday.

Whole years and months are counted first, starting from the birth date: each month is added on the same day of the month. When that day does not exist — for example 31 January plus one month — the last day of the shorter month is used. The days that remain after the last whole month are shown as days.

People born on 29 February celebrate on 28 February in common years, so their age increases on 28 February in those years and on 29 February in leap years.

Born on 20 May 1990, on 13 September 2026 the age is 36 years, 3 months and 24 days: 36 whole years to 20 May 2026, 3 whole months to 20 August, then 24 more days. That is 13,265 days in total, and the next birthday is on 20 May 2027, when the age becomes 37.
