Timer Tools

Timers measure time going forward or backward. The online timer counts down from a duration you set and plays an alarm when it reaches zero; the stopwatch counts up from zero and records lap times, so you can compare each split.

Both are built to stay accurate when you switch tabs or lock your phone for a moment. Instead of counting ticks, they compare real timestamps, so a browser that slows background pages cannot make them drift. The remaining or elapsed time is also shown in the browser tab title, which makes it easy to keep an eye on while you work in another window. Presets cover the most common durations, laps are listed with the fastest and slowest highlighted, and both tools are large and tap-friendly on a phone.
